Louis Anthony Grandison (January 12, 1986) is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall performer. He is professionally known by his stage name, Dexta Daps. "Save Me Jah" and "May You Be" were Grandison's debut singles, released in 2012. There were a lot of songs he wrote in between (such as "Grease mi Gun" and "Dis a Di Bess"), but it wasn't until 2014 that his singles "Morning Love" and "Jealous Ova"—the latter of which featured Tifa—became widely known. Before the 2017 release of his debut album, Intro, he had a string of successful songs. The album's inclusion of a brief sexual video on YouTube—which had 9.4 million views prior to the platform's age restriction—solidified Dap's character as the sex symbol of dancehall. In 2017, he performed at the esteemed Reggae Sumfest, which he felt was one of his most enthusiastically received performances.
